Iranian President Hassan Rouhani

Tehran (IP) - Iran's President, in a phone call with Economy Minister, instructed him to accelerate the offering of major companies in the stock market by removing the possible obstacles.

Iran PressIran News: In the phone call with Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Farhad Dejpasand on Friday, President Hassan Rouhani appreciated the work of all those involved in the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) for facilitating the offering of the Social Security Investment Company (SSIC) shares as a major economic holding.

"The process of offering major companies shares in the stock market must be accelerated and continued by removing the possible obstacles as soon as possible," Rouhani stressed, according to the official website of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran's stock market must turn into a vastly trusted one with lowest risk level

"The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance must try to turn the stock market into a vastly trusted one with the lowest risk level to prevent people's capitals being wasted in insecure markets," said the President.

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance also presented a report on the latest trends in the market and the work done for facilitating and continuing the offering of major companies in the stock market.

While the coronavirus outbreak has fanned new fears of a worldwide recession, sending stock markets spiraling down to new record lows not seen since the financial crisis, TSE has been showing growth with an increase of investments.
