The Iranian and Kuwaiti ambassadors to Russia on Tuesday exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional cooperation and the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Iran Press/Europe: In this telephone conversation, Iran Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said that the Corona crisis once again showed the need for collective cooperation in the region, referring to Iran's plan to ensure security in the Persian Gulf.

He also said that this plan is not just security, but a comprehensive plan in all areas of political, security, economic, social, cultural, historical and health.

The issue of the coronavirus outbreak was another topic of discussion between Kazem Jalali and Abdul Aziz al-Adwani in Moscow.

Kuwait Ambassador to Russia Abdul Aziz al-Adwani also called relations between Tehran and Kuwait friendly and long-standing, announcing his country's readiness to send humanitarian aid to Iran to fight Coronavirus.

COVID-19 has infected more than 2,000,000 people around the world and killed at least 126,000 people, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
