Tehran (IP) - Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, Kianoush Jahanpour announced that so far, 38,309 people in the country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus and 12, 391 patients have recovered.

Iran PressIran News: In a daily press conference that was held at the Health Ministry on Sunday, Jahanpour said that 2,901 newly-confirmed cases diagnosed and 123 more people have been died because of the novel Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

He went on to say that 12,391 people have recovered and discharged from the hospitals since the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran.

Given the latest figures of the Health Ministry, the total number of people diagnosed with the Coronavirus has reached 38,309 people, out of whom 2,640 people died.

According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health 3,467, Corona patients are in critical condition.

"As of this morning, more than 50,821,000 people have participated in Corona Screening Plan," Jahanpour said.
