Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman strongly condemned the Wednesday terrorist attack on a Sikh Temple (Gurdwara) in Kabul, Afghanistan, that left dozens dead and more people injured.

Iran Press/Iran NewsSeyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Wednesday that terrorists will not reach their goals in promoting insecurity, instability and religious disputes by taking evil measures and imposing heavy expenses on oppressed people of Afghanistan.

The Iranian diplomat also sympathized with the families of the victims of the terrorist attack, saying that Iran will stand by Afghanistan in fighting terrorism and extremism.

The ISIS terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility for Wednesday attack on a Sikh Temple (Gurdwara) which resulted in killing 25 people and injuring 8 more.

Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev said late last year that there was a lot of evidence that the United States is involved in the transfer of ISIS members to Afghanistan and in their logistic support.
