Tehran (IP) - The inauguration ceremony of 25 utility projects in 6 Iranian provinces kicked off in Ministry of Energy with the attendance of the Minister of Energy Reza Ardekanian, his deputy for utilities Homayoon Haeeri, and Mapna Company‘s managing director Abbas Aliabadi.

Iran Press/Iran news: In the ceremony held on Tuesday, Ardakanian said the projects are signs of tolerance and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the sanction period.

The above projects are inaugurated in Tehran, Hormozgan, Fars, Bushehr, and Sistan Baloochestan provinces, Iran Press reported.

"At the middle of the current year we promised and planned to launch 227 projects with a worth of 33,560 billion tomans in 31 provinces and today we are proud to say that we have met our promise'" the minister announced.

Several other important electricity projects also will inaugurate in Tehran, he added.

He referred to the Covid-19 outbreak and said due to the current situation created by Coronavirus the projects inaugurated through video conference.

Ardakanian added that the projects have fair distribution in both cities and villages, with 60 percent of the budget were taken from the National Monetary Fund.

During the past 18 weeks, except this week, we celebrated these openings among people and thanked our colleagues.
