UK fights fake news to deal with coronavirus, Iranian ambassador says

Iran’s ambassador to the UK Hamid Baeidinejad in his latest tweet said that the UK government fights with the rumors and fake news in order to tackle disinformation and paves the way to deal with the coronavirus more easily.

Iran Press/Europe: Iran’s ambassador to the United Kindom Hamid Baeidinejad in his latest tweet said that the UK government fights with the rumors and fake news in order to tackle disinformation through it paving the way to deal with the coronavirus more efficiently.

Baeidinejad said: "According to media reports, the British government is working to counter rumors and inaccurate information released by the media or sites about the Coronavirus."

He added: "The Uk government has set up a special task force in the prime minister's office, where the unit will respond quickly through deleting  or reacting appropriately if it sees fake news and rumors over coronavirus."
