Eight people were injured in a bomb blast in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region.

Iran Press/Asia: Pakistani police said Saturday night that the bomb exploded in the border area of Chaman with Afghanistan in Balochistan province in southwest Pakistan, killing eight people, including two policemen.

Several cars and motorcycles were also damaged in the blast.

Today's blast comes as the Pakistani government closed Chaman border crossing with Afghanistan on Saturday to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.

No group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist blast so far, but Pakistani officials blame rebels belonging to Baloch separatist groups for the attacks.
