Qotur (IP) - Iran's Red Crescent Society (IRSC) has been providing aid to those areas strongly hit by the earthquake.

Iran PressIran news: Since the 5.7 Richter Earthquake jolted Makhin village in Qotur district, Western Azerbaijan Province Northwestern Iran, Iran's Red Crescent Society has been involved in providing relief to those areas strongly hit by the earthquake.

Setting tents to be used as emergency shelter, reopening of the Makkin village routes and distribution of medicine, health and food items among the people are among the activities of the Iranian Red Crescent in quake-hit areas.

The 5.7 Richter earthquake at the depth of 6 kilometers last Sunday jolted the village of Makhin in the Qotur district of Khoy district in West Azerbaijan Province. 104/207
