Iran Press/ Middle East: The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated in the US air-raid in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, by the direct order of the US President Donald Trump, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions.
Many countries, organizations, and groups have condemned the US terrorist act.
