Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in the meeting, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that anyone interested in Iran and its security must participate in the elections.
Referring to the parliamentary elections, he said that the passionate and conscientious presence of all people in the upcoming election is effective in resolving domestic and international problems.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the parliamentary elections on February 21, and called the elections a great opportunity for the country and the nation and a threat to the enemies, adding: "Passionate holding of the elections and public presence at the ballot box guarantees the security of the country because the enemies fear the popular support of the system more than its weapons capabilities." 101
