Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Mohammad-Javad Azari-Jahromi has said on Tuesday that in case the launch of the Zafar satellite is successful, it will stabilize Iran's space knowledge and technology, but if not, it will be indicative of the chapter of our efforts.

Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Iran's Minister of Information and Communications added that apart from 'Zafar' satellite, five other satellites are ready to be launch into the Earth's orbits.

Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi added: "Provided that Zafar launch is successful, we can obtain satellite imagery, and they will provide us with information for use in areas that require space knowledge such as agriculture, water resources management, crisis management, land use planning, and meteorology."

Jahromi's words came on the sidelines of the ceremony held on Tuesday to mark Iran’s Space Technology Day.
