Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for Iran's Judiciary, Gholamhossein Esmaili on the complaint of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani's family and the Judiciary against those behind his assassination and filing a lawsuit said that the assassination of Gen. Soleimani is a clear indication of state terrorism.

Iran PressIran news: The official underscored in his weekly press conference that measures have been taken both at the Judiciary and at the Foreign Ministry, but the families of the martyrs said they would file a complaint after the ceremony to mark his 40 days' martyrdom."

He added: "A case has been filed in Iraq that we are pursuing and they are pursuing the case seriously and we will follow up in the international court. "

Pointing to the Coronavirus and the cancellation of flights to China and related issues, the spokesman said: "We heard about the cancellation of flights and a flight was charted to China to bring Iranian students back."

"Fortunately, as the judiciary was notified, thermal sensors have been installed at the country's entry points to identify people with fever or symptoms," Esmaili said.

Answering a question about the recent arrest of a number of spies, Esmaili reiterated: "Over the past few years, America's hostility has had numerous cases against the Islamic Republic, and examples of this enmity can be seen from the imposed war to the downing the Iranian passenger aircraft and in these 40 years, sanctions."

The spokesman for the judiciary said: "The use of spy is another evil act they are doing, but with the ability of the security, intelligence, law enforcement agencies and vigilance of the public, the enemies have not been successful."

Esmaili added: "Amir Rahimpour, who was a CIA spy and was receiving high wages and trying to transfer part of Iran's nuclear information to the US intelligence service, was tried and sentenced to death, and the Supreme Court recently upheld his sentence and soon he will be punished."

He said that two other spies who had been acting in under a charity fundraising for the United States were also tried and sentenced to 10 years in prison for espionage and 5 years for security offenses.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Judiciary spokesman stated that the electoral campaign should not be about accusing rivals.

"I urge the candidates of the Majlis and their supporters to observe the law and regulations in the election propaganda process. Those who want to serve people and society in the legislation should themselves be the best symbol of respecting the laws and avoiding destruction, accusing rivals," Esmaili stated.
