Tehran (IP) - Iran's top military official slammed the psychological war of the enemy which is meant to ISIS the hopes of young people in Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking during a festival in Tehran, head of Basij (volunteer) forces, Brigadier General Gholamreza Soliemani said that the psychological war waged by the enemy's media can be foiled. The enemy tries to broadcast its defeat as a victory and our victory as a defeat like devaluing our national currency, he added.

Referring to cyberspace, he noted that the "enemy" does whatever it can to dash the hopes of our youngsters and young people.

He also hailed significant achievements of the Islamic Revolution in regaining our Islamic-Iranian identity which was assaulted by the enemy before the Islamic Revolution.

"They (the enemy) decided for us what agreement we must sign and what our people should learn. The Westerners destroyed Islamic nations, and in particular Iranian artworks, and subsequently imposed their plans on us to deface our culture," the Iranian official explained.

The Islamic Revolution has dignified Iran, Gen. Soliemani emphasized.

The fifth round of the Abouzar Festival closing ceremony held in Tehran was attended by Brigadier General Gholamreza Soliemani, head of Basij (volunteer) forces on Saturday.

Over 14000 artworks have been sent to the festival, according to the director of the festival Basiri Moqadam.
