Germany shooting: 6 killed, several injured

At least 6 people have been killed and several others injured in a shooting rampage in the town of Rot am See in Aalen, southwestern Germany.

Iran PressEurope: German news agency DPA reports that six people have been killed and several were injured, but German police didn't confirm the exact number of casualties.

A spokesman for Aalen police said that a suspect was arrested after the shooting and no further suspects are believed to be at large.

"Information suggested the suspect and one or more of the victims knew each other," Police spokesman Holger Binert said.
