Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami traveled to Ukraine as president Rouhani's special envoy to convey his condolences message to the Ukrainian president.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami in an interview with IRIB said, "In my trip to Ukraine, I carried the message of condolences from Iran's President to the Ukrainian President, the Government and the people of Ukraine. I delivered this message in a two-hour meeting with the Ukrainian President".

"During my meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, we discussed various issues related to the Ukrainian plane crash, what has been done so far and what will be done," he added.

"The meeting was attended by other Ukrainian officials, who called on Iran to fulfill its promises" the minister highlighted.

"They also thanked Iran for its good cooperation and insisted that the process should be followed up and completed by the two countries in a transparent manner and that the final results should be published in a transparent manner," he said.

"Meetings with the foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko and Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy were my other plans in Kyiv," Eslami said.

"While appreciating what has been done in Iran, the two ministers also emphasized that the two countries should investigate the incident jointly", he concluded.
