At least one person was killed and seven wounded after three explosions hit the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, according to local media reports.

Iran Press/Middle East: Two blasts were reported in north Baghdad and one in the east of the city on Sunday.

The Iraqi capital was also the scene of fatal unrest as unidentified men wearing joker masks attacked protesters and police, killing two people and injuring 13 more.

Sunday marked another turbulent day in Iraq's recent series of riots witnessing massive protests in center, south, and east of the country.

Observers say the US and Israeli regime are behind recent unrests in Iraq and also point the finger to Saudi Arabia and UAE for funding the rioters and their ringleaders.
