Isfahan (IP) - The Armenian community in the city of Isfahan, in central Iran, celebrated the New Year 2020 attending Vank Church in Jolfa district of the city.

Iran Press/Iran News: Vank Church is a historic building in the city of Isfahan, and the Armenian community gathered at the church to celebrate the new year as the clock chimed at midnight on Tuesday night. Isfahan's Christians celebrated their new year on Tuesday night, but so did the Christian community who also gathered at one of Tehran's churches. 

At midnight the crowd celebrated the arrival of the new year, 2020.

New Year's Eve celebrations are underway across the globe as 2020 begins. People around the world celebrate New Year's Eve with fireworks and festivities from one hemisphere to another.

Iran Press News Agency congratulates the world's Christians on the advent of 2020, and in particular Iranian Christians, wishing them a wonderful new year full of joy and prosperity.
