Kermanshah (IP) - The first winter Pomegranate festival was held in Kermanshah, western Iran, at the 4th National Yalda Exhibition from December 15 to 21, 2019.

Iran Press/Iran news: The festival features a variety of cultural and traditional events to celebrate Yalda Night, including Pomegranate Festival and traditional Kurdish music.

One hundred seventy groups from Kermanshah, Hamedan, Isfahan, East Azarbaijan, Qom and other provinces of Iran are also present at the 4th Yalda Exhibition in Kermanshah.

Yalda Night, known as Shabe Yalda or Shab-e Chelleh in Persian is one of the most ancient Iranian festivals annually celebrated on December 21 (night of 30 Azar–1 Dey in the Iranian calendar) by Farsi speakers all around the world. 101
