Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development has confirmed the signing of a marine transportation agreement between Iran and Oman.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, the Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami said according to the agreement, shipping and marine services, as well as facilities for the Iranian and Omani ship owners, are provided in order to expand trade between the two countries.

Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami and the Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry, Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy signed an agreement in the field of maritime transport, and trade as well as shipping cooperation. The agreement was signed last Sunday (8 December)

Various topics including shipping security, facilitating the arrival and departure of passenger ships, protecting the marine environment, marine rescue operations, as well as promoting Iran-Oman naval cooperation on the basis of equality and reciprocal benefits in accordance with international agreements, are all part of the agreement. 101/211/219
