Moscow (IP) - "Iran and Russia have common challenges to confront western unilateralism," IRIB World Service director Peyman Jebelli said in Moscow.

Iran PressEurope: "Our common challenges with the Russian government are to face unilateralism, especially in the West with the US leadership," noted Peyman Jebelli.

The high ranking official traveled to Russia in the framework of a media delegation.

He said that the United States with its unilateralism is trying to sacrifice international norms and systems for its own interest.

The second meeting of the Iran-Russia Media Cooperation Committee began on Monday in Moscow in presence of the Iranian ambassador to the Russian Federation, deputy ministers of Culture and Islamic Guidance along with a number of media representatives in both countries.

During this round of talks, the areas of cooperation and synergy in the field of media between the two countries in order to strengthen political, economic and cultural relations and pursue the agreements and understandings of the first round of talks held in Tehran last year, will be discussed by media representatives of the two countries.

Visiting media centers and getting acquaintance with Russian experiences in this field, as well as talks with Russian intellectuals and experts, attending a conference of Russian Iranologists are among agenda of the Iranian media delegation in Russia.
