An Iranian delegation, headed by the head of the Inspectorate-General of the country, attended the Asian-Islamic ombudsman association conference in Istanbul.

Iran PressAsia: The meeting was an opportunity to establish bilateral cooperation, and the most important message of the meeting was that Iran and Turkey would not be a safe place for economic criminals.
The new members of the board of directors of the Asian and Islamic ombudsman association are due to be appointed for the next four years, Iran Press reported.

Ombudsman association is an institution that monitors citizenship rights.

Thirty-five important Asian countries have been members of this international organization for twenty-five years and Iran is a member of its founding and board of directors.

The head of Iran's Inspectorate General in Istanbul met with the head of Turkish ombudsman at the sidelines of the meeting.
