Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi

A spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry has warned that a foreign-led government reshuffle in Bolivia is by no means acceptable.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Tuesday that any kind of foreign-induced and foreign-backed government reshuffle in Bolivia, not supported by the laws of the land, is unacceptable and unreasonable.

Mousavi highlighted that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that any changes in the government should reflect the people's will, through the ballot box, and should adhere to the laws of the country.

The Iranian diplomat expressed hope that the people and the different political groups in Bolivia could find a peaceful solution without any unrest, violence, and clashes.

Bolivian President Evo Morales was forced to resign on Sunday after two weeks of organized right-wing violence in the country.
