Four people were killed and three others injured in a shooting in New York's Brooklyn borough on early Saturday.

Iran Press/America: Police officers and the Fire Department of New York responded to calls of a shooting about 7 a.m. Saturday at the unlicensed club on Utica Avenue in the Crown Heights section of the borough, police said.

Four men were pronounced dead at the scene. Another two men and a woman were shot and taken to an area hospital, police said according to CNN.

The incident apparently stemmed from a dispute, and there's no evidence that it's gang-related, police said. At least 15 shots were fired and two guns were recovered from the scene.

The victims, who have not been identified, ranged in age from 32 to 49.

No arrests have been made, and police do not know the motive for the shootings.

The shooting was the second mass killing in New York in a week.

More than 40 mass shootings have taken place in the US in 2019, leaving the country on edge and prompting a more intense debate over gun control amid President Donald Trump’s refusal to hold the gun lobby to the account. 101
