Cairo Governorate warning Cairo citizens that those who are found to be dumping garbage on the streets of Cairo will face a minimum fine of EGP2000 and a maximum fine of EGP20,000 about 100 to 1000 Euro.
In this regard, in some places of Cairo like Wiley and Bab al-Shariah some Notifications were distribute for people's awareness from new policies.
Before that a foreign company was responsible for Garbage collection in Cairo metropolis, but now their counteract is expired.
Based on new policies, small local companies under the surveillance of Cairo Cleaning and Beauty Organization are responsible for Garbage collection from houses and shops, while this organization is responsible for cleaning streets of Cairo and green space.
The Cairo authorities also wanted citizens to control the worker whom duties are Garbage collection and if they did not do their duty, citizens must report it with the telephone number which is dedicated to this matter.
Cairo with more than 22 million populations is one of the Most populous city in the world which is suffering from Garbage collection so many years.
