Kermanshah (IP) - Iraq, Germany and the UK, are importing Iranian carpets despite the sanctions that has imposed on the country’s economy.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to the chairman of Kermanshah's Zagros Carpet Company, the carpets of this company are exported to Arab and European countries.

Talking to Iran Press, Yahya Khosravi said that the production capacity of the company is about 260,000 square meters a year, adding that most of the Zagros carpets exports to Iraq.

Noting that the Zagros Carpet applies top-notch yarn quality, Khosravi stated that Zagros carpets are exporting to Germany and the United Kingdom in addition to Iraq.

Iranian carpets have many clients across the world and about 80% of hand-woven carpets produced in the country are exported annually.

In the first three months of the current Iranian year, the county exported carpets and reinforced bars worth $25.6 million. 101/208
