Kermanshah (IP)- The Parsian Hotel in the city of Kermanshah in western Iran hosted a media and tourism conference on Thursday night, attended by the deputy head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism organisation of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Traditional Iranian music and local music was played at the conference venue, the Parsian Hotel.

Speaking at the conference of Thursday night, Vali Teimouri the deputy head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism organisation of Iran emphasised that cooperation and coordination between the media and tourism sectors will definitely boost and promote tourism within Iran, acting as a welcome shot in the arm for the tourism industry, reported Iran Press.

Teimouri also said the provinces of Kermanshah and Kurdistan have been chosen to host the World Conference on Village Tourism to be held next year in 2020.

Keynote speakers at the conference included senior provincial officials as well as the deputy head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism organisation, Vali Teimouri.
