3 bomb blasts in Kabul, 1 killed

Afghan officials said there have been three explosions in the capital, Kabul, including a sticky bomb attached to a bus carrying university students that killed at least one person.

Iran Press/Asia News: Afghan Officials in the Ministry of Interior confirmed that a magnetic bomb planted in the vehicle of Education University has gone off.

Afghan officials further added that the explosion has likely wounded ten others, Khaama Press reported.

The explosion has taken place in the vicinity of the 5th police district of the city.

In the meantime, reports indicate that a second explosion also took place minutes after the first blast. But there are no words regarding the possible casualties.

The spokesman for the Kabul police chief, Ferdus Faramarz has confirmed that two other blasts were later heard from the same area, but couldn’t provide more details.

The spokesman for the public health ministry, Wahidullah Mayar also says at least four women are among the wounded from the bus attack and have been taken to hospitals.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack in Kabul, but both Taliban and ISIS are active in the capital and have staged attacks in Kabul. 104
