Iranian President said that his country is ready to supply Pakistan's need for gas and oil.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Pakistan in Tehran on Monday, President Hassan Rouhani stressed that a new step has been taken for deepening relations between the two countries.

Rouhani said, “Tehran and Islamabad are determined to develop inclusive relations and cooperation without the impact of a third country”, Iran Press reported.

He added, “Iran and Pakistan are going to form a joint rapid reaction force to fight terrorism inside their borders.”

"Iran and Pakistan are fully determined to develop bilateral ties," President Rouhani said.

Elaborating on his talks held with the Pakistani premier, the Iranian president said new step was taken towards bilateral cooperation.

Rouhani said that he discussed with Imran Khan about border security among other issues.

President Rouhani said that Iran is happy about Pakistan's move to name the armed groups operating on border areas as terrorists and deal with them as terrorist groups.

The president went on to say that the terrorist groups have created tensions on border areas of the two countries in recent months.

Iran and Pakistan have agreed to ensure border security and form rapid reaction force on border areas to combat terrorism, the Iranian president said.Touching upon economic relations, President Rouhani said there are good capacities for fostering trade, and the two states decided to develop trade ties. 101
