Aran o Bidgol (IP) – The deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian army has said the recent anti-Iran measure adopted by the United States is a sign of America's frustration with the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).

Iran Press/Iran news: The deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said On Thursday that the recent US move against Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) shows  America's weakness and the frustration among the US ruling elite.

Speaking at a memorial ceremony of martyrs in Hazrat Abolfazl religious group, Iran’s top military official also said the blacklisting of the IRGC indicates that the Americans are afraid of the IRGC.

According to an Iran Press report, Brigadier General Pourdastan also said during the sacred defense era Iran’s IRGC forces cooperated very closely with the Iranian army, with both showing true courage and devotion.

While referring to the creation of ISIS Terror group, Pourdastan said ISIS was a plot designed by the global arrogance, Iran’s Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army concluded that the plot for creation of ISIS in Syria and Iraq as well as the efforts to increase the penetration of the terror group in the other areas, was defeated and foiled thanks to the timely presence of IRGC forces.

Earlier on Wednesday, in a tweet, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif  released a video of Trump’s electoral debate with his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton in 2016 when Trump said  he does not like Bashar al-Assad at all but it is a fact that al-Assad kills Daesh terrorists in  just the same way as Russia and Iran do.

Commenting on the video, Zarif wrote: "At the time when Trump admitted that Iran is killing Daesh, who did he exactly think was engaged in the campaign? Had not the IRGC  ( Islamic Revolution Guard Corps) fought alongside the brave Iraqi and Syrian nations, Daesh (ISIS) would have taken control of two Arab capitals and stationed terrorist armies in Europe’s doorstep."

On April 8, Trump placed IRGC on terrorism blacklist which drew a fierce reaction from the global community.In a reciprocal move, Iran also identified US a sponsor of terrorism and its central command (CENTCOM) as a terrorist group.103/203
