Khuzestan (IP) - People in different regions of Khuzestan province, southwest of Iran, were sheltered in safe areas due to possible flooding.

Iran Press/Iran news: Following the rise of the waters of the Dez, Karkheh and Karun rivers, and then flooding, the Iranian Red Crescent Society has created emergency shelter camps in various areas of Khuzestan province.

In Guriyeh, an emergency housing camp with a capacity of 70 tents has been set up, Iran Press reported.

The city of Guriyeh is located in the Shoaibeya section of Shoushtar in Khuzestan province.
