Iran Press/ Iran news: Imam Musa Kazem (AS) was born on the 20th of Dhul-Hijjah, 128 AH, in the village of Al-Abwa, between Mecca and Medina.
After the martyrdom of his honorable father, Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), the sixth Imam of the world's Shi'as, he assumed the responsibility of leading the Muslims.
Imam Musa Kazem (a.s.) had a special reputation for knowledge, humility, the abundance of charity, and generosity; The 7th Shi'a Imam was nicknamed Kazem because of his great patience, kindness, and forgiveness towards those who had wronged him.
The 7th Shi'a Imam preserved and strengthened the actual Islam, which was strengthened by the teachings and efforts of the 6th Shi'a Imam through the collection of narrations, hadiths, religious percepts, and the revival of the traditions of his beloved father, Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), as well as the teaching and guidance of the Shi'as.
