Iran Press/ Iran news: This year, Kerman Province is hosting the conference under the slogan "Kerman, the Land of Hussain in Iran." The event features the unveiling of a video tribute to the elders, performances by regional, national, and international mourners in commemoration of Imam Hussain, and speeches from key figures including the conference chairman, the head of Kerman Radio and Television, and the Deputy Director of Provincial Affairs at the Broadcasting Organization.
Javad Ramadan-Nejad, the conference chairman, noted that the event, originally scheduled for two months ago, was delayed due to unforeseen events, including the assassination of President Ebrahim Raisi and subsequent elections. It has now been held on the eve of Arbaeen.
The address from the head of the Broadcasting Organization, expressing gratitude to Kerman Province for hosting this international religious event, was read out.
The conference, organized by the Basij of the Broadcasting Organization and the Kerman Governorate, began on Tuesday evening with the participation of over 500 Old Admirers of Imam Hussain from across Iran and several other countries. It concluded on Thursday evening with awards given to participants in both international and domestic categories.
Countries represented at the event include Lebanon, Germany, Burkina Faso, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Syria, Pakistan, Turkey, and Peru, with their elders, scholars, and religious figures in attendance.
