Iran Press/Middle East: According to the statement released by the Iraqi Communications and Media Commission ( NCMC), the Saudi TV channel had insulted Iraqi figures in different forms, and this time insulted late Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU) Second-in-Command Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
The commission stressed that the MBC TV channel must be closed due to insulting Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and intentional misleading of people.
PMU Commander Falih al-Fayadh also filed a case over the Saudi network and stressed that such media seek to distort the facts about the Iraqi Heros as well as demonizing them.
The US forces assassinated Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhadis along with 8 of their companions near Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020.
General Soleimani had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi authorities.
