IP - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Istanbul on early Friday to attend '3+3 Regional Platform' on Caucasus after Thursday meeting with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo to discuss Israeli genocide in Gaza and Lebanon.

Iran PressAsia: Cairo was 8th capital of Iranian senior diplomat tour of the region, after his trips to Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, and Oman over the past week aim at halting the Israeli-American ongoing genocidal campaign in West Asia.

Araghchi on Thursday met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, and two foreigm ministers exchanged views on the wars in Gaza and Lebanon.

Both diplomats reaffirmed the necessity of joint efforts to bring an end to the hostilities and restore stability.

Iranian Foreign Minister meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi focused on regional developments, and al-Sisi reiterating Egypt's call to avoid the expansion of conflict and the need to halt escalation to prevent a full-scale regional war.

On Thursday Araghchi arrived in Turkey. In a post on X account in the early hours of Friday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said Araqchi travels to Turkey to take part in the 3rd meeting of the 3+3 regional cooperation platform, which includes Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Georgia, Iran, Russia, and Turkey.

“Bilateral meetings with participants and with host State top officials are also scheduled,” the spokesman added.
