Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said Iran’s ideas are in the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the made agreements," adding that the plan had been stated during Iranian Foreign Minister's previous trip to New York.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stated that the Islamic Republic and the US have two commitments to each other, Iran brings the implementation of the "Additional Protocol" to parliament and passes it and the US also lifts their imposed sanctions and turns it into law after being taken to congress and approved.

He stressed the aim of the plan is to show that the Islamic Republic has political and diplomatic initiatives.

He went on to add that the plan had been made public during Mohammad Javad Zarif's trip to New York a few months ago to attend the previous UN summit, adding that "unfortunately, the other side and in particular the Americans are not honest and ready for it and if they were they could exit their own made dead-end.”

He stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has explicitly stated that JCPOA is not negotiable and no new items can be added to it.
