Iranian National Volleyball Team

General Director of the America Department at Iran's Foreign Ministry protested the US for leaving the Iranian national volleyball team in limbo at Chicago Airport for entrance to US.  

Iran Press/Iran News: General Director of the America Department at Iran's Foreign Ministry Mohsen Baharvand voiced his protest to Swiss, the US interest protector in Iran, over the US officials misconduct to Iran's national volleyball team, asserting "if the US cannot fairly and unbiasedly host all sport teams, it had better to avoid hosting sport events."

Travelling to the US' Chicago to take part in the final stage of Volleyball Nations League, the Iranian national volleyball team members were inspected by the US officers for around four hours, Iran Press reported.  

Iran's volleyball federation, sending a letter to the FIVB, showed its official protest to the US authorities misconduct with the Iranian national volleyball team. 205/215
