A few minutes ago, a barrage of missiles were fired from different provinces of Iran towards occupied territories.

The received news indicates that Iran's attack was planned in several stages and each stage will be more intense than the previous stage depending on the conditions. In this attack, a combination of hundreds of drones and a large number of missiles of different types have been used.

More importantly, this attack was not just launched from Iran, and is being carried out against Israel from four directions. Western media admit that the defense systems of the Zionist regime are not able to neutralize this complex attack.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a retaliatory strike on multiple locations in Israel, in response to Israeli terrorist attack on Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria on 1 April 2024.

On 1 April 2024, an Israeli airstrike destroyed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing 16 people, including a senior Quds Force commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, a senior commander along with six other IRGC officers. Six Syrian civilians also were killed in the attack.

As diplomatic buildings are entitled to further protections from attack or other interference by the host country under international customary law, codified in the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Convention on Consular Relations, Iranian forces have launched a calculated strike against Israeli targets, signaling their resolve to defend Iranian territory and retaliate against perceived aggression.

When they attack our consulate, it is as if they have attacked our soil,” Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a speech marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday.
