The Imam of the Eid al-Adha prayer said: The heart is divided into two parts; First, the heart that is the house of piety has a sanctuary for God's holy essence, and second, the heart that is the house and shelter of the devil. The heart is the house of piety, Imam Sadiq interprets it as this: "This heart decides to serve and wants to be obedient to God and not disobey Him.
He added: "The heart, which is the house of the devil, considers religion as a toy thing. They are sensitive to their child's studies, but his religion is not important to them because they think religion is a toy thing."
Khatami stated that the purpose of attending the Friday prayer or the Eid prayer is not to sell the hereafter to the world because the world is mortal. sell to the world of others.
He reminded: "The heart that is the house of the devil sells it's hereafter to the world of others."

Ayatollah Khatami addressed America and Europe, who are the supporters of the Islamic system's opponents, and stated:
"I say to America and Europe, all the oppositions that you create, the inevitable fate of all of them is failure.
