Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Revolutionary Committee has said if the world knew what is actually happening in Yemen, it would certainly rise up.

Iran Press/Middle East: Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said: "The last four years have been full of steadfastness and achievements despite suffering, massacres, siege, and famine. We have maintained community cohesion and worked to counter injustice."

In an exclusive interview with U-news website, he said: "The enemy has far greater resources than we have, but we have achieved great successes," Iran Press reported.

Al-Houthi stressed that the United Nations is well aware that the United States, Saudi Arabia, and other countries are involved in war crimes in Yemen.

He stressed that Britain and America are misguided to repeat the battle of Hodeidah, by claiming that the army and the People's Committees are obstructing the agreement and do not want to implement it.

On the other hand, Al-Houthi threatened the Saudi coalition forces to make a "hell" for them if they advanced towards Hodeidah again in order to violate the agreement signed in Stockholm.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 16,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the Saudi-led deadly military campaign.  International pressure has been mounting for the war to end in Yemen.
