Iran Press/Iran news: A senior spokesman of Iran’s Armed Forces Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, has warned Iran's enemies about any mistake or miscalculation on their part, saying such a mistake will have grave repercussions.
"Any mistake by Iran’s enemies, in particular, America and its regional allies, would be like firing at a powder keg that will burn America, its interests and its allies to the ground," he reiterated according to Iran Press.
Brigadier General Shekarchi, talking to Tasnim News Agency, added: "The enemy is now confused. Their tone today is in the form of a psychological operation and is far from the field's realities."
He reiterated: "Contrary to the Islamic Republic which has steadily grown stronger in the past forty years, the enemy has been steadily declining in strength."
Brigadier General Shekarchi said: "Our strategy is that we return fire with fire. If a shot is fired at us, we will give a robust response, firing 10 shots at the enemy. The enemy will surely pay a heavy price."
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) had announced in a statement early Thursday that the US-made Global Hawk surveillance drone was brought down by its Air Force near the Kouh-e-Mobarak region near the southern port city of Jask after the aircraft violated Iran's airspace.
The RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system (UAS) can fly at high altitudes for more than 30 hours, gathering near-real-time, high-resolution imagery of large areas of land in all types of weather. 208/211/101
