Iran's acting labour and social welfare minister, Anoushiravan Mohseni-Bandpey, has stressed that our duty at the labour and welfare ministry is to extend welfare, social justice and social development to all groups in society.

Iran news/ In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Tuesday, Anoushiravan Mohseni-Bandpey as acting labor and social welfare minister in the shahid Rajaei festival on Monday 16th of October in the ministry of work and welfare in Tehran said, "We have created jobs for young people, built houses for the poor and the less-well-off."

In further comments, Mohseni-Bandpey said we have had substantial increase in pension payments to our pensions, and more people have been given pensions, with 2200 billion Toumans being paid to pensioners out of the 2018 budget -- which means 760000 families have been given their pension.  

Elsewhere in his remarks, Mohseni-Bandpey said we have also taken some steps to provide cheap housing to poor working class families and the less-well-off.  He also said we are trying to create jobs to young people as well, supporting them to learn skills which will be useful for them in the job market.

Mohseni-Bandpey was speaking at Shahid Rajaei festival which is held every year for social welfare servants.

"One of the recent acts were increasing the number of pensioners and delivering many houses for needy people and creating job opportunity for young generation, which could help to expand the social fare," he said.

He added, our main strategy is to completed the Iranian base and use IT for giving better service to the general public.
