Iran Press/Iran News: Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said at a local conference in Tehran that Iran’s indigenously made S-300 missile defence system and its radar, launcher and carrier are all being built at home, IRNA reported.
Iranians succeeded to indigenously build the S-300 missiles in less than six years after Russian officials declined to deliver them to Iran despite Tehran-Moscow previous deal for the delivery of S-300 long range missile systems, Vahidi said stressing the home-made missiles are more precise than those of the Russians.

“Although Iran's dialogue has prevailed over the region, it is not after hegemony or coercion,” the official noted.
As for the situation in Syria and Iraq, he said, “We are not after dominating those two countries. Iran is also not willing to annex even an inch to its soil. Our dialogue is about saving humanity”.
Referring to Iran’s latest scientific achievements, Vahidi said, “Thanked to the firm will of the Iranian youth, no door will remain closed to Iran.'
