Defence Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami, has rejected all allegations of Iranian involvement in attacks on Saudi oil facilities emphasising that Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime have always wanted to provoke the US into a war with Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Defence Minister reminded that two years ago the Yemenis carried out a missile attack on a UAE airport, but at that time their missiles were not accurate enough, adding that it is sensible to say that the  Yemeni forces have improved the accuracy of their missiles after two years, strengthening their missile power, and it is logical that Yemeni forces have respond to Saudi Arabia's military aggression by an attack on Saudi oil facilities.

Brigadier General Hatami noted that Yemen's Ansarullah forces have already claimed responsibility for the attack on Aramco oil processing facility at Abqaiq.

Defence minister Hatami rejected any Iranian involvement in the attack, saying some media sources and non-official sources had claimed Iranian involvement but without presenting any evidence, backup or proof, Iran Press reported.

Iran's Defence Minister said the aim of the allegation against Iran in Aramco attacks is to provoke the US into a war against Iran and all should know that in the situation of any aggression against Iran we are ready to defend our sovereignty like we did when a US drone intruded into our airspace last June. 101/211/205
