The Syrian army has found a cache of Israeli weapons and medicine left by militants who fled the southern province of Quneitra.

Iran Press/Middle East: The weapons were found stashed in formerly terrorist-held areas in Quneitra and were uncovered during the Syrian army's search for land mines, state news agency SANA reported on Saturday.

The militants withdrew from Quneitra which is close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights late last year to terrorist-held areas in northwestern Syria.

The Syrian government has repeatedly declared that the terrorists receive support from both the United States and the Zionist regime.
