Iran Press/ Iran news: The international conference "A world free from the domination of US and Zionism" kicked off in Tehran on Monday, Nov 6, 2023.
During the conference, the elites focused on resistance against global arrogance and the impact of its reflection on the Islamic world.
Alberto Gonzalez Casals, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba at the beginning of his speech, said: At this moment that we are here, people are being killed in Palestine with the support of the U.S. government.
He said: We have to fight, and unity is something that helps us to fight. That's why I emphasize students.
In another part of his speech, he said: Some press are writing about the war between Israel and Hamas.
This is not Israel's war against Hamas, but Israel's war against Palestine and wants to destroy Palestine. This is the war of Zionism against the truth.
The diplomat said: Cuba has been and will be with Palestine. From the very beginning of the revolution, we cut off our relations with Israel and we will continue to do so. Even now, many countries in Latin America cut ties with Israel.
The purpose of holding the conference is to prove to the world that the US's voice in the world and the hegemonic presence it wants to create in the world is disappearing.
In the conference, the US decline, reasons and consequences, the emergence of new powers and the decline of the unipolar world, the expansion of the geography of resistance, the expansion of the idea of justice and anti-arrogance, and the decline of Western civilization and the thought of liberal democracy are supposed to be discussed.
