Iran press/ Iran news: In a message to Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, Iran's First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri while referring to the two sides officials' political will, as well as the historical background of cooperation between Tehran and Tbilisi, expressed hope that through activating the existing capacities, the grounds would be paved for further development and increasing progress of bilateral relations, especially in the economic and trade fields.
On May 26, 1918, the National Assembly of Georgia declared the independence of the country and the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Georgia; the people of this country celebrate this day every year.
