Iran Press/ Iran News: During his weekly press conference, in response to an Iran Press question regarding the message of the failure of Donald Trump's maximum pressure on Iran he said that the message has been issued in Washington, and the world and people have reacted to that.
He added that the US government has left dozens of agreements, and its international behavior will be investigated for many years.
"Iran knew that security and loyalty will not be achieved by following the US and has declared to all neighbors that the US thinks about its own benefit rather than the people of the region," he noted.
"Our region has faced a crisis, due to billions of weapons which have been sent to the region by governors," he highlighted. The spokesman went on to say that Iran believes that neighboring countries must accept Iran's invitation and find peace and security through interaction in the region rather than Trump's policies.
"Only the language of peace and respect to Iran and Iranian dignity works," he emphasized.
Khatibzadeh said that the US has time to change its way and its failed policy. US actions need three main changes. First, the change in thought, second, in language and the way of negotiation, and third, compensating past behavior.
It is too early to say what will happen but similar to the previous years, all solutions are inside our country and we must let Iran's government decide about Tehran-Washington relations, Foreign Ministry Spokesman concluded.
