The manager of Lotfabad border terminal in Khorasan Razavi said that Turkmenistan has annulled the heavy tolls for transporting transit goods by Iran through the cross borders.

Iran PressIran News: Mohsen Rukni, manager of Lotfabad Khorasan Razavi border terminal, stated: "From October 1st, Turkmenistan will remove the goods transit fee ($1.5 per kilometer) for Iranian goods."

The tariff for the passage of foreign transit fleets from Turkmenistan up to 10, 20, and above 20 tons has been set at 130, 180, and 250 dollars, respectively, and the fees for entering the country have also been reduced from $170 to $150.

Rukni noted: "Of course, Iran, in turn, will give the same transit exemptions to your Turkmenistan."
