Thousands of Palestinians held Eid al-Fitr prayers this Wednesday morning in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, despite the security measures of the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, in Quds, announced: "About 60,000 Muslims held Eid al-Fitr prayers in the area of Al-Aqsa Mosque."

According to this report, despite the strict security measures implemented by the Israelis, thousands of Palestinians from all over occupied Palestine reached the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli regime prevented some Palestinians from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and for this reason, they performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer behind the walls of this mosque.

After the Eid-al-Fitr prayers, the Israeli forces attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This year, Eid al-Fitr prayers were held in Al-Aqsa Mosque overshadowed by the Gaza war and the Israeli attacks on the West Bank.

Since October 7, 2023, with the full support of Western countries, the Israeli regime has launched a massive massacre in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank against the defenseless and oppressed people of Palestine; Meanwhile, the silence of the international community and human rights institutions in the face of the crimes of the Israeli regime has led to the continuation of the killing of Palestinian women and children by the war machine of this illegitimate regime.
