Iran Press/Middle East: Mahdi Sobhani said three construction expositions were held in Syria during the last two months, wherein Iranian companies participate actively.
Sobhani added that the goal of the Iranian companies' participation in the expositions was to improve relations with their Syrian counterparts with the aim of the expansion of economic ties between the two countries and playing a more effective role in the reconstruction of Syria.
"Let's not forget that the enemies of Syria do not abandon animosity in the reconstruction phase until they achieve their objective that was not fulfilled in the war, and we are sure that the Syrian government is fully aware of these plans," he stressed.
The Iranian envoy reiterated that as his country stood by Syria during the war on terror, it will continue to support the Damascus government at the reconstruction stage.
Iran's Ambassador to Syria made the remarks on the sidelines of the Buildex construction fair which opened in Damascus on Thursday.
